Artist, Lisa Fatone

I was trying to remember just how long ago it was that I first met artist, Lisa Fatone of Connecticut.

One of the more vibrant memories was on the Town Green in Guilford, Connecticut where she was selling beautiful venetian glass earrings. This has got to go back twenty years.

I remember Lisa being so excited about what she did and about what she was creating. Well fast forward many years and I find Lisa as artist in residence  at the brand new Gallery of Fine Art@ Venetucci Home in Westbrook, Connecticut.

Lisa has that same excitement now as she did long ago about what she creates in her paintings and jewelry.

While doing what she loves, she’s also showcasing others. If you’re an artist, you can exhibit your work in this beautiful hall by getting in touch with Lisa. She also tells me she’s out there scouting Connecticut artists to e featured in the space. Think about putting up an exhibit here and having cocktails, how fun!

I love that Lisa paints on wood planks in beautiful colors and writes in her artsy handwriting “dream” and “beach” and “sail.” I bought two, one for my mantel at home and one for a wonderful couple who just got married and live on the water.

Trust me, set aside some time, you’re going to need it to wander thru the gallery. Be inspired by Lisa Fatone, a woman who is a peace with what she’s doing for a living. Can you say that?

One Response to Artist, Lisa Fatone

  • I’m so pleased to see this post on Lisa Fatone and Venetucci’s Gallery here in Westbrook.

Lisa has an eye for art and I’ve been to the gallery on many occasions. Her inventory is always changing and there is something for everyone from landscape to abstract. Lisa is truly one of the hardest working gals in the Connecticut art scene.
